@schutzsmith thank you. Started noticing more personal aggregators as I was bldg it. Notably sweetcron. No inherent hierarchy there, tho
timezones are a very iffy thing. you'll need to experiment. my only tips are: 1) make sure the place you are importing from has the right time zone (i.e. set up wordpress / flickr / twitter so it has your time zone) 2) make sure your server has the right time zone (e.g. my server is in the USA but I set it up to have a Japanese time zone - where I live)
